Calcium Free Food

Hi, im just wondering what calcium free dog food is there available?

thanks

My Comment:

Hi Katie

If it has something to do with urine stones (like calciumoxalate stones) I know of two:

Royal Canin "Urinary" and Prescription Diet u/d

If you feel like it please let me know why you wish to find dog food containing less calcium.

I am just curious..

All the best

Calcium free food
by: Kaite

Hi,

Thanks for gettin back to me!

I have spoke to my friend in spain as it is for her dog.
She said that it is for urine stones. The vet in spain has told her to feed him on Prescription Diet c/d. and every vet she has spoke to in spain says different things abd she just wants to make sure that shes feeding it the correct food.

Thanks again
katie

My Comment:
Struvite stones is treated with Prec. Diet c/d.
So if it is struvite its OK
