Dark urine

by Danny Seymore
(Heber Springs,Arkansas)

Should my dogs urine be dark yellow?

My Comment:>/strong>

Hi Danny

Yes - If any thing else i fine with your dog, often the urine can be quite dark.

It has to do with the amount of urine as well.

If he is drinking large amount of water and its very dark something might be wrong.

If it is very small amount of urine, and the dog is urination all the time - something is wrong to.

Often the urine density is between 1030-1050. The urine can look quite dark yellow with these values.

The urine should be yellow. Not dark or red.

If your dog is normal, eats and drinks as used to - I think its OK.

You can send me a picture of it or take a sample to your local vet and let him/her have a look at it.

If you are worried of cause.

All the best to you
