hey.. how are you?? i have 5 dogs. 4 of them are stray's, i have taken all of them to get spayed , neutred and all shots! however i cannot afford meds for fleas and ticks on a monthly basic's they are to expensive. is there a vitamin i could give them by mouth to help out with this problem?? they don't like bath's... only to play in the pond. so i would be grateful for anything u could reccommend i can give them by mouth. thank you so much!

My Comment:

Hi

Something both taking care of fleas and ticks....no sorry.

Long time many dog owners used garlic against ticks. But this is no longer considered being OK to use. Garlic contain some chemicals as normal onion. Onions can can cause anemia in dogs if consumed in too large amounts.

I have also heard about some recipe containing thyme which you spray on the dogs to keep them tick free. But the exact recipe is unknown to me but you make a tea of the thyme - let it cool and spray it on their fur.

I don't know if this should be working for fleas as well or not.

I am sorry I can't give you a wonder recipe suiting your needs but you can try the "thyme tea" for the ticks at least.

All the best
