GSD puppy

what do you think is the best kibble to feed a German Shepherd puppy - from 8 weeks on? Would you recommend supplements of any kind?

My Comment:

Hi

No supplements!

This should not be necessary at all if you using dog food of good quality.

A German Shepherd dog is a dog growing fast during the first year.

What ever food you are using it is so important that the growth is kept at a speed of not more than 1 Kg (2 pounds) a week.

I realize that you may use Kirkland dog food, which is grain based, a of advarage quality.

When it comes to dog food quality I am a very big fan of Champion Pet Foods (Orijen and Acana).

They are both of high quality in ingredients.

Acana is grain bases as Kirkland Foods but of premium quality.

So this is often my choice, but they are often a bit more expensive compared to others.

On the other hand when calculating the cost pr day it is not that much a difference, but this is a choice you have to make.

All the Best
