Orijen Adult, 6 Fish, or Regional Red?

I was wondering if you could help me decide between Orijen adult, 6 fish, and regional red for my dogs. I have 2 papillions that are 2 and 3 yrs old and are currently being feed castor and pollux ultramix, and haven't had any health problems on it. I just recently discovered Orijen and it just seems like a much better product for my dog. I was just wondering if any of the 3 Orijen formulas would be better for them vs another and if so for what reasons.

Thank-you very much for your time,
Brooks

My Comment:

Hi Brooks

It is not that difficult really.

One of the things I like most is Orijens lack of specialized food. No food for small dogs, big seized dogs or middle seized ones. Orijen just make high quality dog food.

That's it.

No need for any "special" feeling as I sometimes see this as being more a "sell thing" than a "health and nutrition thing" (I admit it is very black and white opinion)

I advice to use the normal Orijen Adult most of the time.

I use to recommend Orijen Fish in dogs having any health problem where extra Omega 3 can be beneficial.

This can be skin diseases or perhaps joint diseases where morning stiffness starts to be a problem.

Regional Red - I haven't used this much. It could be used as normal food if you like the ingredients more compared to the normal Orijen Adult.

I have been wondering to test this in dogs having some kind of food allergy problem as the ingredients is different compared to most dogs foods.

If your dogs doesn't have any health problems I would go for the normal Orijen Adult 80/20.

You can also try Regional Red to see if your dogs likes this one better.

I found this video the other day.Of cause it is a commercial for Orijen, but still it gives a very good idea about the company and there ideas.

You can find it on this page:
