Dr. Per,first good day to you and I hope everything is going well for you.I feed my 15 month old jack russell terrier Acana grasslands (grain free)dog food,and a few days a week raw meaty bones.Do you think he needs any supplements,such as vitamins,glucosamine,chondroitin,and so on? If so what do you recommend? Thank you in advance.

No, not really.

If he is healthy and no skin problems – I don't think I would recommend any supplements.

If any, might consider Omega 3.

Not because there is any problem with the Omega content in the food, its just better there is “too much” Omega 3 than too little.

This is really just to be on the safe side and by no means anything you “must” do.
